Legal document 01
Privacy policy
This policy explains what LS Doctor can inspect, what it deliberately excludes, who can receive information, and the controls available to you.
Effective and last updated: 1 August 2026
01 / Scope
Who this policy covers
LS Doctor is a skills-only plugin for ChatGPT and Codex, published by Harry Blanchflower. It provides troubleshooting guidance and a bundled, read-only diagnostic collector for TikTok LIVE Studio on Windows and macOS.
LS Doctor does not operate a publisher server, create an LS Doctor account, use advertising or analytics, or transmit diagnostic data to the publisher.
02 / Categories and purpose
Information processed locally
Only when you ask for diagnosis, LS Doctor may inspect bounded local evidence needed to identify a likely fault. This can include:
- operating-system and app versions;
- hardware and audio-device labels;
- whether relevant app processes are running;
- allowlisted TikTok LIVE Studio quality and audio-routing settings;
- counts of selected error signals in recent log tails.
This information is used only to explain the likely cause of the reported problem, suggest a reversible test, or prepare a sanitized support handoff that you can review.
03 / Exclusions
Information the collector is designed not to expose
The bundled collector excludes:
- passwords, two-factor codes, cookies, and session tokens;
- account-service data, stream keys, and server URLs;
- device IDs and recording-folder paths;
- raw configuration files and raw log lines.
LS Doctor will not ask you to paste credentials or a stream key into a conversation.
04 / Recipients
Where information can go
LS Doctor sends nothing to the publisher. The collector writes its limited JSON result to standard output on your computer.
Information you choose to place in a ChatGPT or Codex conversation is processed by OpenAI under your OpenAI terms, privacy settings, and workspace controls. If you choose to open or contact TikTok, OBS, Apple, Microsoft, or a Creator Network, that third party applies its own privacy practices.
Before any external upload or support message, LS Doctor is instructed to show you the narrowly scoped evidence and obtain your confirmation.
05 / Retention
How long information is kept
The publisher retains no diagnostic data because LS Doctor has no publisher-operated backend. A report you deliberately save stays in your chosen local location until you delete it. Conversation retention is controlled by your OpenAI product and workspace settings.
06 / Your controls
Choices available to you
- Decline local inspection or stop the task at any time.
- Review proposed evidence before sharing it externally.
- Delete any report you chose to save.
- Disable or uninstall LS Doctor.
- Use your OpenAI account or workspace controls for conversation data.
07 / Updates and contact
Questions or changes
This policy may change when LS Doctor’s capabilities or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top will identify the current version.
